Tuna Sniper Popping Rods
The newest line of Tuna Sniper rods are lighter, stronger, and faster in taper for the longest possible casting distance and more control boat side. These rods combine the latest technology in blank material and components with a classic, streamlined look. Less bulky with the new size 40 stripper guide and a length that gives you the extra casting distance, but with a more balanced feel.
The 8' length is the perfect compromise to give you the extra casting distance that Tuna Sniper rods are known for, while giving you more of a mechanical advantage in an up and down battle.
These rods were completely redesigned from the ground up and re-released in 2012. Updates include a brand new blank design, moderateaction with a fast tip, EVA grips, new Fuji "K" Series SiC guides, and a new padded rod sock. All these changes add up to a sleek new look and feel and a reduction in overall weight.
